Model 5GV Net Weigh Systems can be configured to fill virtually anything—from small bags, to pails, to boxes. For example, when configured for bags with an industrial-type sewing head working in unison with a bag-closing conveyor, it is capable of filling 10 ten-pound bags per minute, depending upon operational parameters, with accuracy up to +/1 oz., based on product flow and the consistency of bulk density.1 All Model 5GV Net Weigh Systems incorporate the state-of-the-art GSE 665 SERIES Programmable Digital Controller, which features:
- 100 product ID settings
- Automatic free-fall adjustment
- Auto zero
- Tolerance control
- Total bag count
- Master cycle counter
- Digital calibration
- Optional printer
- Optional multi-dump feature
Typical Model 5GV configurations can include but are not limited to:
- Simplex scale with vibrating pan and 2-rate feeder
- Duplex with automatic bag hanger
- With gravity gate and vibrating pan for dribble feed
- Duplex scale with auger feeders
- Straight spouts, center-grip spouts, and dust-tight spouts
