When you need to fill bags that would be inherently unstable on a flat belt, the Model 900 V is your solution. Twin V-configured 8 inch wide belts make it ideal for fluid products or for bulk materials with densities less than 15 pounds per cubic foot. Available in sizes up to 16 feet long in 2 foot increments for optimum flexibility, the 900 V Series bag-closing conveyors maintain bags securely in an upright position through bag-closing machinery at speeds up to 40 feet per minute (for simplex scales) and 55 feet per minute (for duplex ones), depending on operational parameters, bag sizes, and product types1. Other speeds are available on request. The 8 inches wide, 3-ply, rough-top neoprene belt provides a tough, non-slip surface. The 900 V Series is typically equipped with a variable-speed ½ HP DC motor to match the speed of the closing machine although a 1 HP fixed-speed motor is also available. Legs have individual cranks to adjust height for uneven floors.
