Using the temperature controller, the correct temperature is set to suit the thickness of bags being sealed. The open mouth of the filled plastic bag is guided into the infeed section where it is gripped and supported by continuously moving rubber belts. The bag then traverses through opposing streams of hot air creating a molten band of plastic that immediately passes between pressure rollers to complete the weld, before leaving the machine.
