Saxon : 5 Rotary Continuous Heat Sealer

Designed as a multi-purpose hot air sealer with rugged construction
Removable sealing module means minimum downtime when replacing sealing bands
Works with Polyolefin and PVC shrink films, polypropylene, co-extrusions and polylaminates
Teflon sealing bands have a lower replacement cost and have high conductivity
Axial cooling fan efficiently controls melt thereby improving seal quality
All working parts are fully accessible. The use of quick release fastenings on major components such as the air ducts and belt guard assemblies makes removal easy for maintenance and cleaning purposes.
Able to efficiently seal materials of any thickness up to 250 microns (10 mil or 1000g)
A range of drive pulleys gives a choice of sealing speeds to suit either your existing conveyor lines or your production requirements
A tamper-proof cam ensures safe isolation of power supply when the hinged covers are open
Fitted with high efficiency axial cooling fan as an integral part of the sealing module
One standard PID 3-term temperature controller provides a visual readout of the sealing temperature. PID controller can hold the temperature steady to within +/- 2° C and is a self-contained unit rated at IP66
PID controller and illuminated electromechanical switches are housed in a separate sealed pod mounted on the infeed side for easy access
Deep throat of Saxon 5 allows up to 110mm (approx. 4 ¼") of bag above the seal
Electronics are housed in a separate IP54 control box within the rear housing enabling the unit to be used in dusty and/or damp environments with complete confidence.
Can be used as a free standing unit on a adjustable column and mobile trolley or incorporated with a conveyor
All working parts are fully accessible reducing maintenance time
Ergonomic infeed molding allows easy feeding of bags

STANDARD FEATURES

FEED: Left to right or Right to left as needed
PAINT: Epoxy powder coat
SEAL: 10mm wide plain is standard.
SEALING SPEED: Speed range from 7 ft/min to 50 ft/min as required. Speeds outside this range to suit your particular needs are possible.
SEALING BANDS: Two Teflon heat sealing bands with auto tension adjustment and removable sealing module for easy replacement of sealing bands

CONVEYORS - Special design conveyors are available to suit your requirements. Standard version include a 2.5 meter mobile plastic slat conveyor for filled bags up to 35 pounds or a 3 meter wooden slat or chain link polypropylene conveyor for filled bags 35 pounds and up.
