DESIGNED FOR VERSATILITY

Taylor's modular design makes the DW1000 adaptable to nearly any discharge or deweigh application. The tripod deweigh configuration improves load distribution for increased accuracy and operator safety.

OPTIONS FOR FLEXIBILITY

All product handling options are available. Products can be discharged into rotary screw feeders, pneumatic conveying systems, elevators or augers and batch hoppers. Options may be selected to meet FDA, USDA or specific customer requirements.

SAFE LOADING, ACCURATE WEIGHING

A bulk bag is set in the pan using a fork-lift, overhead crane or other lifting device. Weighments are minus to weigh down as the bag empties for discharge or deweigh.

STURDY FEED PAN

The feed pan of the DW1000 secures and safely supports bulk bags of up to 4,000 lbs. The pan may include electric or pneumatic vibrator attachment for difficult materials.

PROTECTIVE PARTIAL ENCLOSURE

The Taylor DW1000 was the first bulk bag discharging system to address operator safety, to prevent product contamination and to control dust and emissions. The discharge enclosure is complete with drawstrings, cylinders, discharge nozzle and flanged enclosure for dust collection. Customer's dust collector pulls stray dust and vapors away from the operator.

SIMPLE, SAFE, DUSTFREE OPERATIONS

1. Open Bag Bag discharge spout is pulled out from the protective outer covering and exposed.

2. Seal Excess bag discharge spout is stretched over the DW1000 spout. A cord is wrapped around the discharge spout and hooked to retracting cylinder rods to seal the interior.

3. Discharge Untying the discharge spout tie string allows product to flow from the bag safely, dust and contaminant free.

HOIST AND TROLLEY

The DW1000 hoist and trolley unit features an integral 2 ton electric hoist with a powered trolley. Different hoists, detached I-beam and other configurations available.

ENGINEERED FOR PRECISION WEIGHMENTS

Taylor's patented electronic weighing systems are extremely accurate. Computer weigh systems can be incorporated with all DW1000 discharge and deweigh applications. Single and dual set point meters provide precise deweighing with any type of discharge feeder.

DURABLE CONSTRUCTION

Reinforced, elongated frame with heavy gauge tube steel, I-beam and required bracing counters lift. All DW1000 models are built to perform thousands of operations safely, accurately and dependably.

OPTIONS FOR PRODUCT HANDLING

All contact parts on standard DW1000 units are 304 stainless steel with satin finish. Models can be fitted with optional bag thumpers or massagers for especially difficult products. Vibrators, live bottom agitators, gravity flow spouts and screw feeders are also available.

CONTAMINATION-FREE DISCHARGE

The lower spout on the DW1000 is adaptable to a variety of takeaway means. Material is discharged safely and dust-free with no product contamination.

Top A 2 ton hoist reduces fork-lift time for waiting and positioning. The integral hoist lifts the waiting filled bulk bag from the floor.
Middle An integral trolley powers the bag into position above the supporting feed pan.
Bottom The bulk bag is lowered safely onto the pan. A single operator can lift, position and discharge a bulk bag safely, with easy access to all controls and the discharge enclosure.

DW1000 Options

The DW1000 was the original model for unloading, emptying or deweighing bulk bags. Along with the IBC4000, it established Taylor Products as the bulk bag filling and unloading experts. Custom fabrication enables customers to specify desired discharge height. Stainless steel frame, explosion proofing, washdown and computer weigh options are available.
