Markem 5000 Series case coders use hot-melt ink jet technology to print product information, logos, graphics, date codes, and barcodes directly onto a carton. Each uses 256 addressable ink jets—more than any other industrial ink jet printer—to print high resolution graphics, logos, and circular images. Part of the secret is the exclusive Touch Dry Ink, which is instant drying, nontoxic, and requires no solvents or special handling. It produces superior prints and 100% scannable barcodes that are crisp, opaque, and free of smears or weeping. Can be networked to other coders and labeling systems on the factory floor, creating a streamlined, cost-efficient workflow.
