Charcoal is bagged as charcoal briquettes or lump charcoal used for cooking & heating. It is also available as activated charcoal powder for medical & purification applications.
Charcoal briquettes are uniform in shape and available in 3-25 lb. paper bags. For the charcoal briquettes industry, we recommend the Weigh Right Model IQ-iE vibratory net weigher scale, the Fischbein Model 400 NS bag sewing pedestal, the Hamer Robotic Palletizer, and the ARPAC Pro pallet stretch wrapper.
Lump charcoal is irregular shaped chunks and typically available in 8 to 35 lb. paper bags that are sewen closed. For entry applications of lump charcoal we recommend the Weigh Right HF-1 bagger with a Fischbein Model F portable sewer. For high volume applications we recommend the Weigh Right iQ-3600-HD dual vibratory bagger with a Fischbein Model 400 NS sewer.
Activated charcoal powder is used for medical & purification applications (1 lb. – 1,100 lb.). For dry, free flowing powders, we recommend the Chantland Model 4198 gross weigh, auger bagger and the Fischbein Model PBC 6000 pinch bag closer.
