The Union Special Model 4000 is a light weight, hand-held, bag sewer. The Model 4000 is a single thread, 101 stitch, plain sew portable. It is ideal for sewing of open mouth: burlap, jute, paper, PE-material, PP laminated woven fabric and PP woven fabric bags.
An optional, suspended, top lock spring balancer can be used to support the Model 4000 while sewing. To minimize machine damage and operator fatigue we recommend the Union Special 90191M suspension unit.
