Compaction Baggers are designed to fill valve type bags by volume rather than weight. Typical products include fibrous or compressible materials such as soils, sawdust, and cellulose fiber.
For example, with a sawdust bagger or a cellulose fiber bagger, product is delivered through the valve bag spout by an auger type feeder. A resistance sensor on the feed screw determines the amount of product to be forced into the bag. A bag agitator may be used help settle the product as it is filled into the bag. Compaction packers can fill 20-100 lbs. bags at 2-3 bags/minute.
