Potato bags come in a variety of materials (i.e. paper, poly, burlap and mesh). Potato bags range is size from the 5 & 10 lbs. bags commonly found at grocery stores up to the commercially available 50 lb. burlap bags.
For 5 lb. to 20 lb. retail potato bags we recommend: the Northwest Bagger ABH-1 net weigh bag filler.
For 20 lb. to 100 lb. commercial potato bags we recommend: the Northwest Bagger ABH-1 gross weigh bag filler.
These bags are typically closed with a ring tie. There are a number of semi-automated bag closer options depending on your specific requirements. Often the Fischbein Model F portable hand held sewer or the Fischbein Model 400 NS bag sewing pedestal is used to close these bags.
