Mushrooms are bagged in a variety of bag types (i.e. poly, burlap and mesh). For retail applications like grocery stores, mushroom bags range in size from 1 to 10 lbs. and 20 to 50 lb. bags for commercial applications.
For filling the 1 lb. & 10 lb. poly mushroom bags we recommend: the NW Bagger Model ABH-1B bag filler. For closing these bags we recommend the APM Model VCBS band sealer.
For filling the 20 lb. to 50 lb. mushroom mesh bags we recommend the NW Bagger Model ABH-1B. bag filler. These bags are typically closed with a tie, metal ring, or sewen closed. For the sewen bags, we recommend the Fischbein Model 400NS bag sewer.
