The American Newlong Model DS-9A is a high speed plain sew, single needle, bag closing machine used for closing of all kinds of filled bags made of multi-wall paper, PP/PE woven cloth, jute, cotton bags. Equipped with mechanically operated continuously running thread chain cutting knives. The operator has to guide the thread chain between these knives for cutting the thread chain at the end of the seam. The DS-9A is typically mounter on a pedestal and used in conjunction with a conveyor.
A wide variety of accessories are available including various mounting pedestals, infeed systems, a full range of conveyors, bag-top folders, thread and tape-break detectors, bag coders, and photoelectric controls for system integration.
