The US400 is a pedestal mounted fold over plain sew system used to closed open mouth, pillow type or gusseted bags. Folding over the top of the bag before sewing reduces product leakage. A variety of infeeds (long, short or mini) with a straight or a “V” opening are available. Depending on the type of bag (multi-wall paper or laminated woven polypropylene), the US400 can sew up to 75 ft./min.
Options include: variable feed drives, thread break detectors and needle coolers.
