Automatic Bag Placers for Open-Mouth Bagging Systems
INPAK SYSTEMS offers several semi-automatic and automatic bag placers, sometimes called bag hangers or bag positioners, that are interfaced with open mouth bagging systems.
Automatic bag placer machines are designed to automatically grab, open, and place a bag over the fill spout without manual handling. Once the bag is secured at the spout, the system fills it and then transfers the completed bag to the closing conveyor for sewing, sealing, or taping.
Typically, flattened bags are placed in a loading area where they are picked up by suction cups, opened, and positioned over a fill spout. An automatic bag placer can position a variety of flat, multi-walled and gusseted paper, plastic, Mylar & poly woven bags at rates up to 22 bags/minute.
